You come home after a grueling day of work.

Your shoulders are weighed down by stress as you head back home, whether it’s a long drive or a commute by public transport.

You’re absolutely exhausted.

You sigh and close the door behind you, ready to get that feeling of the weight of the day off your shoulders.

You look around, rubbing your temples or massaging your neck, trying to alleviate the tension that has built up during the day.

Almost instinctively, you make your way to your bed or favorite spot, collapsing into it.

You sighed again.

”Must everything be so stressful?”, you think to yourself.

But what if I told you, you don’t have to accept THIS as your daily routine?

What if I told you there’s a way to make things easier, whether you’re clocking a 9-5, running a business, or being self-employed?

A simpler solution exists, and it’s called SEO.

Last week, while scrolling through LinkedIn on a Wednesday morning,

I realized this recurring “pattern”

Many businesses and organizations don’t prioritize SEO.

So chill! It’s not just you.

I paused and took a sip of my coffee.

“How sad”, I thought to myself

SEO is literally a SURE WAY TO GET YOUR SERVICES PAID FOR BY CLIENTS.

It is your digital megaphone!

Here’s how it works:

SEO stands for Search Engine optimization.

And what it does is help your website or online content become more visible and attractive to Google, Bing, Yahoo, or other search engines.

Anytime anyone searches anything online, what the search engine does is look through this huge library of websites to find the most relevant and helpful ones to present

Think of it this way,

It is the road map for search engines to find your website among billions of others.

Honestly,

SEO talk used to bore me too, and I frankly just did not care.

But once I found out how helpful it can be,

I got an “SEO BAPTISM” and became a believer — and a preacher.

By using specific keywords, well-structured content, and other techniques that search engines use when “crawling”, it BOOSTS your website to the top of the search results.

So why should you still care?

Well, the better your SEO, the more likely it is that your website will be shown at the top of the search results, attracting more visitors and giving your business or content a better chance to shine and succeed.

It’s like having a big box of colorful crayons and wanting to draw a beautiful picture, but there are so many pictures in the world, and you want yours to be seen by lots of people.

Yeah, perfectly put, that’s it.

Do you now understand why it is SO VERY IMPORTANT for you?

Today is August 16th. Imagine you already had SEO in place, working for you.

No no,

Just imagine it! “What stress would you have avoided by now?”

My heart goes out to all the frustrated business owners who have tried SEO in the past but didn’t see the results they expected.

COMMUNICATION could be the missing piece.

You see, what most people don’t take the time to explain about SEO is that, while it’s very beneficial for your business as it works for you overtime and in the long term, IT ALSO TAKES TIME TO BUILD.

It’s not a “five-minute fix or hack”.

A lack of communicating this properly to your client tends to throw them off-guard when they don’t start seeing results a few months after they start, and frankly, they begin to feel CHEATED.

So, take note and walk every client through every step of the process while explaining why each stage is important.

Let them start sitting in on your website review meetings.

In fact, suggest that they do; this will remove hiccups along the way.
